Hi! I'm gathering up my Christmas activities for the next couple weeks. Christmas is one of my favorite holidays, so I often do the theme for the whole month of December! I thought I would share what I am doing in therapy in case anyone is looking for some new, fun ideas. I hope you can find something great for your students! Merry Christmas! :)

I love using a stocking for various activities. I hide mini objects in it, then pair the objects with my Language Prompts for Mini Objects and my Mini Object Articulation Sentence Strips.
We'll play this game, which is actually new to me this year. So I don't have an honest review on it yet!
These are some of my favorite books to use during the Christmas season.
Social Skills
For perspective taking, we will use Christmas toy ads to pick out toys for a specific person, rather than ourselves. For my older kids, I have them explain why they picked that toy. Sometimes, I let them choose the person - such as a sibling. Other times, I give them a description of a person to choose a gift for.
I also love listening to Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer and talking about the poor social skills of his fellow reindeer - not letting him play in their games, calling him names, etc. This brings up some great discussions with my younger children. We talk about what the reindeer should have done differently.
I hope you found something you can use in your therapy room! Thanks for stopping by!
